SigFox Enabled Line Break Indicator
The FireFly™ makes finding a dropped or broken line quick and easy. When the line breaks and drops beyond a 45 degree positive or negative angle the FireFly™ activates a flashing high intensity Red LED. With the embedded SigFox wireless communications module, the FireFly sends a message to a central station and alerts you via E-mail and/or text message. Now you now exactly when the line breaks and where it's located
The FireFly™ electronics are encapsulated in UV stable moisture resistant polycarbonate. Its internal lithium ion battery will last up to 20 years in both hot and cold environments. The FireFly’s™ novel clip design permits installation of the FireFly™ on an installed fuse with a shotgun hot stick.
A leveling system, with adpators for multiple conductor sizes is available with the FireFly LBI
